Join us for the next UNDICI Book Club, our relaxed monthly book club in Old Amersham for those who enjoy a good book and a great glass of wine.

In June we’ll be discussing My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante— the first novel in the celebrated Neapolitan series exploring friendship, ambition, identity, and growing up in post-war Naples.

Sharp, atmospheric, and beautifully observed, it’s a book that invites conversation — about women, class, relationships, and the complicated people who shape our lives.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning to the table, the evening is informal, welcoming, and open to everyone.

If you’re looking for a book club in Buckinghamshire, an evening event near Amersham, or simply a chance to talk about a great book in good company, you’re very welcome to join us.

Monthly UNDICI Book Club

The UNDICI Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm at our Italian wine bar and bookshop in Old Amersham.

Each month we select a title to read and discuss together. Some evenings may include guest authors or themes; others will simply be a table of regulars and conversation that moves naturally along with a glass of good wine.
